Macko stood staring at the punchbag for at least 5 minutes while he prepared himself. He'd stretched every muscle he knew how to and jogged around the court a few times to warm up.
He took his stance, it was different to any other mortal fighter; his fists were held high and close - up by his forehead. He began his onslaught of the punchbag. His punches were quick and all angled slightly downwards, to make the most of gravity. His fists get even heavier during flight so can land at 40-50kg. As soon as they make impact the density is reduced so he can bring them back up with minimal effort. The style is efficient and very hard hitting, if a tad clumsy and predictable.
Next he tried something else, he placed one arm on top of the other to help support it, his left wrist bent up so that his right elbow can rest against it. In this position he twists his body round and makes his right fist and arm as heavy as he can support. Twisting back and propelling his arm forward, as well as increasing the weight as it travels allows him to hit at a decent speed, but with a fist weighing 250kg. He prepared himself again for a few seconds then released the punch.
The punchbag snapped off it's chain and went flying out into the courtyard, after hitting he had to let his fist swing down by his side while he took some weight out of it. Macko smiled, pleased with himself, then retrieved the bag and hung it back up (the chain was designed to give under enough load to avoid needing replacements too often).
He went back to his original style, this time trying to push his fists to 60kg while keeping the same speed up as before, all the while wondering if there was anyone around he could spar with.
