WORDS 634 TAGS Raz NOTES Sorry if it’s crap, still getting a feel for rping. | An average day at the prison, or what could be considered “average at prison”. The sun was high in the sky, showing the time of midday, being roughly two-o’clock. The recreational court was abuzz with various prisoners performing different activities, whether they were just bored, or wanted to keep up in physical form, all of them had something to do. No one was causing any trouble, hell some of the prisoners seemed to be getting along playing their “American sports”. Sounds of various grunts from the weight lifting benches mixed in a disgruntled rhythm of the basketball players’ feet shuffling across the asphalt. It was surprising people weren’t completely bickering about foul plays, or violations of rules that people played in their “home turf”. Albeit, these were Xun’s thoughts on the matter, he was never interested in sports to begin with, which gave rise to the question, why was he here in the first place? Simply put, he was here to meditate. The outside always calmed him, he could have down without the noise, but everywhere in the prison had a degree of noise, some more than others. His answer to that problem was getting as far away from everyone as he possibly could, especially away from that damned whore house next to the basketball courts, the mere thought of that place disgusted him, prisoners had getting killed to worry about, going into the disease, STD filled place was just stupid for anyone’s health. He dismissed the thought while searching for the proper place to settle. His eyes scanned about, tracing the various people to see where they were going, their movements so he wouldn’t bump into anyone, he had confidence that he could take down anyone here if they decided to pick a bone with him, yet he wasn’t in the mood for fighting. His location was found, an off area place in the right corner away from the entrance into the recreational court. It was shaded, which would be good for keeping cool and so people wouldn’t bug him as much, even if they decided to bug him at all. The “monk” moved over to the shaded area, he already made silent preparations to get ready, his life force beginning to deaden his physical senses so he can be more in tune with himself. Though, his senses weren’t completely toned down so he couldn't hear anything, they were simply dulled so he wouldn’t be bugged by the background noise. Thankfully, people didn’t want to bother him, that being a plus from how random prison could actually be. He took one look behind him before sitting down; making sure no one had interest to bother him. Once he confirmed no one was taking an interest, Xun sat down in a crisscross formation. Then, the world disfigured around him as he closed his eyes, the deadening of senses allowed him to clear his mind. Xun ignored the world around him as his thoughts slowly cleared as he entered the trance like state. The solid back tank top and pair of normal jeans slowly moved in rhythm with his barely noticeable breathing, giving a slight shift to the fabric every second or two. His former apathetic stare turned into a more relaxed one, as the chi moving through his body relaxed his muscle, giving quite the peaceful look to the man, despite his muscled and scarred exterior, peace was something uncommon to the prison, he had ways to cope while others did not. So there he was, amidst people who would kill him without second thought, but he didn’t care as he meditated. His rage had even subsided quite a bit, he could feel himself becoming more light-hearted, honest and kind to the world, but like all good things, it would come to and end… |
