CAPABILITIES

Raiju Physiology revolves around having the same traits and attributes as a Raiju, also known as a thunder beast, whose body is composed of lightning and is usually modeled after a cat, fox, or even wolf. Raiju can fly about as a ball of lightning, and some would say that they are the reason for lightning, and their cries are as loud as thunder. Raiju are the companions, and followers of Raijin, the Shinto go of lightning, and are considered harmless and calm until thunderstorms. That’s when Raiju become agitated, and leap about in trees and fields or even atop buildings leaving ’Raiju claw’ marks other wise known as scorch marks in what they strike. Raiju are granted a fraction of their god Raijin’s full power, thus why they addressed as thunder beast.

A full blooded Raiju is a creature crafted from Shinto and a half blooded Raiju is a human with Raiju in their bloodline. Full blooded Raiju have perfect control of their shapes, and even enjoy becoming small enough to sleep inside human navels. Often prompting Raijin to shoot lightning arrows at Raiju to wake the beast up, often harming and killing humans with the arrow. This is one reason superstitious people sleep on their stomachs during bad weather, while other legends only claim Raiju will sleep in your navel if you sleep outside.

APPLICATION

- Electrical Manipulation: Can absorb/ create electricity and use it to fire offensive blast, bombs, or burst, as well as being immune to electricity and electrical attacks. Electric attacks do electric damage, such as overloading machines, charging machines, or stunning an opponent. With enough power and concentration he can create either simple or complex shapes with electricity, but this will wear him out faster.
- Electrical Mimicry: Can shift his body into that of pure electricity, using this to travel through electric wires or others electrically powered objects. While in this form, he scorches the earth he is standing on and has to avoid touching water as he will electrocute everyone including allies.
- Feline Physiology ( Flexibility, Agility,  Speed, Strength, and Balance at a peak human measurement. As well as a pair of razor sharp claws)
- Night Vision: If in a dimly lit room, he can see in the dark by reflecting incoming light off the back of his eyes and back through the front giving him a cats 'night vision'.
- Flight

LIMITATIONS

- Can be trapped inside a non conducting jar in lightning form
- Cannot control or talk to cats with feline physiology
- Claws can be broken on substances are than iron
- Distance and strength of electricity manipulation depends on skill and strength of user
- Electricity can be insulated by non conductive materials (air, rubber, silicate)
- Electricity can be redirected through certain materials
- Need to recharge in storm clouds or by absorbing electricity
- Grounding may cause unexpected re-routes while manipulating electricity
- EMP’s will distort electric forms, making reforming time consuming and tiring
- Constant use of his electrical powers can be tiring
- Night vision fails in pure darkness
